Steve Balistreri, president and founder of Legacy Advisors, comes from a family of longtime business entrepreneurs

He acquired Sun Cleaning in 1988 and grew the company from $100,000 in annual revenue to more than $10 million annually. Sun Cleaning Group was then acquired by CleanPower. 

Balistreri assisted in the transition and then engaged in business advice and merger and acquisition services through Mardsen Holding LLC, and Blackthorne Partners, Ltd.

Balistreri is active in the community, including serving as president of the boards of directors of the University Club of Milwaukee, the Metropolitan Milwaukee Association of Commerce and the MMAC's Council of Small Business Executives. He also is a director of Spring Bank, based in Brookfield, Wis., and is a past board member of the Ozaukee Country Club.

He holds a bachelor's degree from Marquette University and a master's degree in finance from the Kogod School of Business at the American University in Washington, D.C.
